Knapsack - Zum Heimathafen Art Series (Artic Rodeo Recordings 2015, Boxset/500). 3 Knapsack full-lengths, 2 Jealous Sound full-lengths, and an upcoming record with his new band, uetclub losangeles, Blair Shehan remains the damn man. I love everything he's done.

Paper goods & stuff. When the first rumors spread that Knapsack will reunite in 2015 I was already thrilled and after „Arctic Rodeo Recordings approached me with their idea to release all three Knapsack records on vinyl for the first time, I was beyond excitement. Since this is in some way an archive of their music I came up with the idea to create a folder that holds everything. Project: Knapsack Vinyl Packaging. Client: Arctic Rodeo Recordings. Disciplines: Illustration, Packaging.
Knapsack was an American punk rock band formed in 1993 by Blair Shehan (vocals/guitar) and Colby Mancasola (drums). Shehan and Mancasola were two high school friends studying at the University of California, Davis. Guitarist Jason Bokros and bass guitarist Rod Meyer completed the line-up. In 1994, the band recorded a single for the independent label Goldenrod Records and signed with Alias Records later that year. Their first album, Silver Sweepstakes, was released in 1995.
By contrast, the magnificent Heimathafen Neukölln is a highlight with various cultural offerings in a historic Varieté-Theater. Discovering the magnificent Heimathafen Neukölln is a real surprise in the middle of the gray Karl-Marx-Straße. The old Varieté hall building with neo-baroque decorations and Art Nouveau elements is used for concerts, theater and comedy events or single events like the annual "Berlin Song Contest since 2007. A visit of the event series TV Noir is especially recommendable. There are interviews and gigs with famous artists like Philipp Poisel, Eva Briegel or even Olli Schulz in front of a small audience. Leisure Surprising Cultural Highlights.
